Default Need help identifying AC parts!

Hey guys,

I need a little help identifying some AC parts for my car. I have a 96 EK with 96 GSR. I bought an AC compressor from a guy on craigslist 99si b16. can you guys confirm this is a b16 compressor from the pictures below. I need a little help with my bracket also.

When I try to mount the bolts, it seems to not line up correctly. I will pick up the pully system and bracket also, does anyone know if all b series will work or a part number?

I pick up my daughter after work and its about to get 100+ degrees out here...really need to get this working asap. thanks in advance!

Hard to tell from your pics. The OE compressor part number on a 99 Civic Si is a Denso 10PA15C and even aftermarket remans are usually tagged with this number somewhere.

What kind of compressor were you running to begin with?

What kind of a/c bracket do you have?

BTW:

USUALLY when people run A/C on their B swapped Civics we run the stock D-Series compressor with a Del sol VTEC or CR-V a/c bracket. This is why I ask if you know what bracket you have.

Once you get into trying to run a B series compressor and bracket you'll likely run into issues with the suction and discharge hoses not fitting properly either.

You really need to know what you started with in order to know what you need to replace it with.

Thanks man,

I've actually read many posts from you in the past (learned a lot). I'm just getting back in the scene from being away for 5 years. I had to create a new account because I forgot my pw on previous acct (an I don't know my old email to retreive old pw.

I have no clue what bracket I have I contacted the guy I bought the compressor from and will swap it out with a d series. Are all the lines the same from there?

Thanks!

Okay...so the letters and number on my bracket start with p72. Anyone know what bracket that is? What compressor do I need, the b16 compressor that I bought doesn't seem to line up? I've been searching and have hit a brick wall. Someone help please.

Thanks.
