Let me first say that I'm not a 'car guy', so if I apologize if I get the language wrong.

In my 2007 Accord the power outlets don't seem to be functional. In other words, the cigarette lighter won't work (not that I have the actual 'lighter' unit - I'm trying to charge a cell phone).

Is there some way to 'turn' them on? Is there a fuse or relay or something that could be broken? Is this something I can fix or should my mechanic look into it for me?

This goes for both the unit close to the dash and the one in the center arm rest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
