hey, picked up a 98 hatch yesterday, tookout the hideous indiglo gauges, and none of my dash lights worked prior and after taking them out. Checked fuses under dash and under hood, they were all good. Indiglo gauges were powered by my cd player, that still works, dimmer switch IS plugged in and functions. Rear defrost and hazard buttons are the only ones that light up and dim when i trun the dimmer switch. Climate control and gauge cluster do not light up at all. Please help, I don't want to put those indiglo's back in
i had a problem once when none of my cluster or dash lit up & it turned out to be a few different fuses. check multiple that'd have to do w/ anything thats not working.
good luck!

thanks, i'll pull out all the fuses and check, i thought i had covered all possibilities, but i guess not since its still not working
i believe there is a fuse under the hood that has to do with the lights on the dash as well i had the same problem with my del sol and it was a fuse under the hood
I'm having a similar problem, but none of my marker lights are working either. Checked all under dash fuses, and they're all ok.
Headlights, brakelights, and turn signals all work, so not sure if it's the underhood fuse, but I'll try it. Any other ideas?

all fuses under the hood are good on mine, and i painted my valve cover today, put it back together and now it won't start. Removed all the spark plug wires and re-connected them, twice, checked the plugs on both ends, fuel pump turns on, starter cranks, but no spark. Check the ignition fuse, checked the other fuses under the dash that might be related to the motor. I tried reseting the ecu, didn't help. F*ck do I hate OBD2
