Default 15x8 tires.

Hey guys I ordered my wheels and they're 15x8 and I'm looking for suggestions on tires. Mind you I'm running a decent amount of camber and I don't drive my car in the winter and pretty much only on good days. I really want pretty much the smallest tire possible without stretching. I wanted to stretch at first, but now I'm not so sure. thanks for any help.

Glad you changed your mind. Stretch is dangerous mang. You dont really have a ton of options for a summer tire with that wide of a wheel...but check out tirerack.com. They have a very helpful search engine.

What sort of car do you own guy?

I am guessing you have a DC2/EG/EK in which case 225/45R15 is one of the very few options that you have that are manufacturer approved as being safe for mounting on a 15x8 and also roughly the right diameter. nsxtacy will know more but the Hankook RS3 is one of the very few street tyres available in this size. R compound selection is a little better.

With that width, you're going to be stuck using 225/45-15.

This is why the FAQ in the Wheel and Tire Forum tells you to first decide on what size tire you want to use, and only then find out what wheel widths work with it (i.e. before buying the wheels).

i believe the wheels weren't shipped yet so you think i should change them to 15x7's instead for a better selection of wheels?

Yes, absolutely! With 15x7, you can use 195/55-15 or 205/50-15, which will give you lots of choices.
