I just recently moved to pa, im from oregon where things are laxxed there are no inspections nothing, out here they check everything its pretty insane to me. when i purchased my hatch a while back it had no dashboard vin plate, but had the vin on the inside the door and on the fire wall. i was wondering how i obtain a new dashboard vin plate? im kinda worried because folks here told me if i try to get a new one they will change the status of my clean title si hatch to a recon... something im not willing to do.. so if anyone has any ideas id greatly appreciate it alot! i do not want the title of my car to get changed just because im registering here.

I think here in Oregon the DMV does it but the new VIN for the dashboard will be blue. It should probably be the same in other states.
