Default Oil blowin up in my boy's EK!

So as he was goin to wal-mart, he noticed hesitation and a ton of white smoke coming out his tail pipe.

His dipstick blew out of the tube, oil was EVERYWHERE.
It was on the hood, on the spark plugs, and what not.

Is this a case of them high revving too much and the pressure just built up in the crank case? let me know! i'm about to replace the valve cover gasket, oil tube seals, spark plugs, wires... and i think thats it.. if that doesn't solve it, i guess he gotta take it to a shop b/c it might be a bad piston ring..... even though all 4 spark plugs is saturated with oil, i doubt its a piston ring problem.

so if anyone can chime in, that would be delightful.

The head gasket is almost surely blown.

white smoke is coolant not oil. oil smoke is light blue sounds like the headgasket is leaking

May or may not be a head gasket. Blueish smoke can be easily confused for white smoke. Oil smoke is not like a deep blue. It's white with a blue tint. Anyway, check the PCV valve in that car. If it's clogged, the crank case might be building up excess pressure.

PCV valves are $1.80 at autozone last I checked.

When u run it right now is there a lot of air coming from the dipstick tube or the oil cap? Does it run on 3 cyl? have u compression tested it? is this car boosted? if so id say piston ringland if not prob hg. I always take my pcv out and just run a hose to the atmosphere
