Stuck spark plug wires
Hi all,
I was going to replace my spark plugs this afternoon since they are long overdue for replacement. Anyhow, when I went to remove the wire-grommet type thingy that covers them on the valve cover, it wouldn't come off. I pulled quite hard, but to no avail. Is there a trick? I tried going side to side, and up and down, it rotated, but wouldn't pop off. I have a 92 Accord LX. Thanks for any suggestions. Is this a sign of something else wrong?

No, spark plug wires can just become difficult to remove. Try wriggling while pulling up. Wear a work glove and keep your face out of the way. You don't want to punch yourself or the underside of the hood barehanded.
if it will turn while attached to the plug it should be free enough to pop off. Just pull harder. Look on the bright side, if you destroy the wires getting them off, you'll get a brand new set!
