b16 ecu on a h22
the b16 mates with h22 and f series motor.
why not ecu too?
why get it?
i have an h22.
my freind has a spoon ecu he stole a while back.
2 step launch , 8500 redline, and advanced timing set
the downside is that its for the b16b.
will this work.
also i have skunk2 valves, valve springs new gasket, and arp head studs with new belts and 100k on motor so dont worry bout my engines health.
will this ecu make me gain or lose power cause its for b not h series

that should work out well. both motors are similar. the ecu will learn the fuel ignition maps in a matter of minutes and adjust all of it. Id also suggest getting "hotter" spark plugs.

The ecu will run a H22 just fine, however the software (aka ROM) should be modified (aka tuned) to properly run a H22. So to answer your question, yes and no.
You are incorrect. You do no need to tune it. running a b16 ecu is perfectly fine. He will probably make more power than the stock p13.
