a good auto x wheel 15in that can also be my daily driver??
I"m looking for a way cheaper wheels, something with nice style , an auto x style that i can use for my daily driver wheel to for now, anyone ? like to see pics of the wheels you auto x and road race in , thanks
I use Kosei K-1 Racing wheels. 15x7 so I get that extra half inch of width over the Rota's I was looking at.

Simple and clean. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them from strangers when I was out and about.

Oh wow. Seems like Rota's are probably going to be your best bet. Can't do much better for $100 per wheel.
I got my 15x7 K-1's with Kumho 712's mounted and balanced through my tuning shop for $750. I know they bought them through tirerack, since they are the exclusive distributor of Kosei's AFAIK.
What's your range?

itrmike you got rotas in black , do they have white or silver? where should i got to get them at? tires.com discounttiredirect.com??? oh light are they, and there called rota slipstrems?
http://www.jaydm.com/slipstream.htm , i like the white, thanks guys i like the easy good clean style, no chrome no ganster stuff, 15' =12lb 16'= 13.5, would it be ok to go with the 16? or just stay with 15, i'm wanted to have a 205/45/15 or 16, but i don't want to screw up my gear ratios so what do you guys think? and if you know where or have pics with a 5th gen civic coupe has these rota wheels on i would love to see, any color

anyone with white, or other color rota slipstream wheel pics on there car , like to see, anyone know where i can but a package tire and wheel for them
check out http://www.rotawheel.com for pics. you might also want to consider the Circuit 8. the 'slips & the C8's each weigh about 12 lbs. if i remember correctly, they come in silver, black, bronze....
i like the flik apex, bundle with 15x6 wheels, with 195/50/15 with kumho tires for $480 , anyone think this is a good tire size for handling, thanks
Most people like to run the 205/50/15 size. There are more choices available as far as tires, especially in R compound. I wouldn't recommend a 205 with the 6" width. The extra 10mm in width doesn't seem like a lot but it does make a difference.
Plus it fills out the wheel well better.

do you think i could make a deal with the company to have 205s on instead of the 195? i'm not going to auto cross or start yet, i mit go to some road racing courses and stuff, but not starting off my carear yet i'm still learning
I am sure that you could. They will probably charge you the difference. Don't discount the local shops though. Most will have competitive prices & better service.
rota slipstream wheel pics on there car , like to see,
cool, yea i did'nt try that yet, what about pics of the flik apex ,the white 6spoke, or other color, anyone find a pic of them on a civic

I have yet to see any cars with Fliks on them. The wheels are apparently very new and most people haven't heard of them yet. Try a search because I think there is a guy that has them on a CRX. I'll be buying them in another month or two when I get some more funds.
I use my stock Si wheels which are 15s for autocross, track, and daily driving. Tires are really what makes the biggest difference.

yea thats true, but i just want a nice cheaper wheel because i hate my hub caps, is wheels and good set of tires a good first mod??? there way lighter then stock too
Wheels and tires are probably the best first mod.
Followed by springs and shocks as soon as your budget allows.
Better to have wheelgap over nice wheels and tires, than tucked steelies, IMO.
That deal for the Flik's and the 712's is good, but you might want something a little wider than a 6 inch wheel.

yea, i was thinking on getting lowering springs and a chamber kit for my first mod, but i found this deal so i want to get these , then do my suspension things, then worry about making more power, want to get my car handling good and feeling good coming into corners, yea i would like 205, but would 195's be good until i get a new set??? remember i'm not starting to auto cross yet,but still??
If you intend to autocross in a stock class, be aware that you need the stock wheel width and offset. You'd be wise to use the OE wheels for autocrossing and the aftermarket ones for driving around.
I use Koseis K-1s and Enkei RF-1s on the race car. Both 38mm offset 15x7.
