i have a b16 in my ek thats throwing a #15 cel for ignition output signal... will start randomly and run for a bit then die. then it acts fine for a bit then dies again. This is the only code its throwing. Im pretty positive its the dizzy that took a crap because its some cheap ebay i had bought when i was in a bit of a cash bind and i just needed one. im going to order tonight but wanted to see if there is anything else i can check before i do. The main relay is working btw and i dont have access to another b series dizzy but i do have a mulitmeter and was wondering what
connections i should check?

the connections on the dizzy plug look fine so if it is a connection its probably to the ecu?

dont get a new dizzy unless u want too spend more money on a new dizzy... had same problem in my b16 and it was a bad ignition control module i would change that first there like 40 for a new one on ebay. mine would run fine then when it would warm up it would jus turn off and then if i started it would jus crank ova

 

yeah once mine heats up then it starts to act goofy....

where is the ICM located? anyway to test it to make sure its the ICM?

its inside the dizzy... to the right inside it should have i think 4 wires on it cant miss it ... be there got stuck too lol
