CLUTCH master cylinder rebuild???
has anyone ever done this?
mine is leaking from the inside and i would like to fix this.
i called honda and they will only sell me the whole MC, was wondering if anyone has ever had this issue and fixed it. ???
maybe its compatible with other MC's like from civics or something.. i have a few of those laying around.. ill just have to take them apart i guess and see whats up.

isnt the part like $75? i would think it would be cheaper, easier, and more cost effective to go and replace it instead of rebuilding it.
i just had mine replaced 6months ago.

yeah aftermarket is like around 80. looks like ill have to do that anyways. honda priced me an oem one at 140.. ive found some oem ones cheaper, but still... seals wouldnt cost much at all.
have your local dealer price match the price on majestic honda's site. ive done this numerous times and saved a bunch of money.

after looking at mine i think its possible. idk where you would get the seals but im sure you could do it. i would assume its alot like rebuilding a wheel cylinder

to non-OEM parts. they are never as good and always lead to more problems
