Default CLUTCH master cylinder rebuild???

has anyone ever done this?

mine is leaking from the inside and i would like to fix this.
i called honda and they will only sell me the whole MC, was wondering if anyone has ever had this issue and fixed it. ???

maybe its compatible with other MC's like from civics or something.. i have a few of those laying around.. ill just have to take them apart i guess and see whats up.

isnt the part like $75? i would think it would be cheaper, easier, and more cost effective to go and replace it instead of rebuilding it.

i just had mine replaced 6months ago.

IVE HEARD OF REBUILDING OTHER ONES BUT NOT S2000 ONES. I DOUBT YOU CAN DISASSEMBLE THEM WITHOUT DAMAGING SOMETHING.

have your local dealer price match the price on majestic honda's site. ive done this numerous times and saved a bunch of money.

to non-OEM parts. they are never as good and always lead to more problems

imo, it really depends what you buy and who made it.

the oem master cylinder is crappy to begin with so i don't think aftermarket ones can be much worse.

As many issues as they have had with the OEM ones, I would take the one advanced offers any day of the week. (Plus I get 20% off cause my friend works there. )
