10.94@130 on DOT
Hello from Sweden!
This past weekend I managed to break into 10s with my K24 allmotor CRX.
I had to use DOT approved tires because of the class rules.
The tires used were M&H street n strip 235/60-15. 1.8s 60ft, 2nd gear launch because of lack of grip.
I've done a very low 1.7 60ft on these tires but this time the weather wasn't on our side.
Air temp below 50 deg and hail shower in the beginning and middle of the day didn't make it easy for us :D
The specs is as follows:
Accufab 90mm TB
AFI IM
ID 725cc injectors
Portflow K20A2 head
Supertech valves, springs and titanium retainers
Drag Cartel stage 4 cams
Cometic head gasket
CP 13.7:1 89mm pistons
Blueprint racing I-beam rods
Golden Eagle sleeved K24A2 block
SSR 4-1 with reverse cone
Hondata K-pro
E85 fuel
+
CM FX400 clutch
OEM JDM EP3 tranny
DSS stage 3 axles
Dynoed to 299 at the hubs. A complete OEM Euro EP3 CTR with K20A2 puts out 184 on the same dyno.
The car weighs in right at 2000lbs with me in it
Full metal and glass, just gutted interior.
I want to give a huge thanks to everyone involved!
Special big thanks to Ben@importparts and his crew! Whatever I needed they got it for me.

Thank You guys for the kind words!
I too believe that I would be pretty competitive if I brought the car to the states and ran slicks as all the top dogs do but I don't think I could afford that.
This trip cost me nearly $2k. I don't know about you guys but over here that's a whole months salary :D

I have those same exact tires that I used with my turbo setup. I think they would be overkill for my stock K20A2 with stock 6 speed. Nice times with them either way!!!
Thats awesome! alot of good stuff in that car, and running those numbers on dot's is badass!
Do you have any idea if this is the fastest allmotor setup in europe?

Thanks again guys!
IP, AFI and M&H, YOU GUYS ROCK !!!
13173, I don't think they're overkill. I've used these tires on a stock B16 CRX and I ran the same trap speed as I did on real street tires.
Lou-tdi, I know of a polish K24 CRX that's gone 10.937 but that's a whole other story.
Besides the gutted interior that I also have, he has drag slicks, fiber glass doors, fenders and hood, lexan windows, cut floor and rear spoiler, straight rear axle, no head lights etc.
My car is re-registered with a K20 engine and has to pass a yearly inspection here in sweden as it's still a street legal car. The only thing I have to do to pass is to put on an air filter, a more quiet exhaust and other street friendly wheels.
I love allmotor engine bays. Not too much unnecessary **** haha J/K

Cool man, I remember that car, and I do remember it being hot-rod ish, so I guess you have the fastest allmotor street car in Europe then?
2000lbs isn't exactly featherweight, and running those traps tells me you have a solid setup.
Looks like I have a record to beat
Thanks for sharing

Lou, It's hard to tell since not everybody is racing by the same rules and the definition of a real street car is not always the same.
You're right. 2000lbs isn't exactly featherweight but that's just about how light this car can get by following the rules of my class.
The rules say, either gut the interior or FG/CF body parts or lexan windows.
Hehe I know that's some impressive trap speed but I don't think I'll ever trap that high again bcoz of the air temperature and humidity that day.
Correct me if I'm wrong but you'll be racing in the HKS drag series right? 955kg weight limit? If so you won't be needing more than 300 rototest horse powers to beat my time since slicks are allowed in that class and Santapod is one of the top 3 best drag strips in Europe.
Good luck!
