Default B20 Vtec - how are you plumbing the PCV system? / oil breather?

Ok, Im building a mild B20vtec, should see arround 200˜220whp, nothing too complicated.

Now... I notice some "tutorials" say that you should run a line from the PCV to a catch can, then from the catch can to the IM.

But, is this the most effective way?

Like running a line from one of the plugs from the bottom of the block or so.

All I want is to avoid oil gunk in the manyfold, and get better power/durability from the engine.

If you guys have pictures, hit me with it. lol

Edit:

Can I just run a line from the plug on the block, to a catch can, then from the catch can to the intake manifold? without the PCV valve. No oil return also, just inspecting it once in a while.

I'm in the poorman's scene, over 4k in parts and now I'm totalled, so I'm looking for cheap, simple, reliable alternatives.

I just did the thing where you replace the two plugs in the back of the block with prelude water fittings, bought a freeze plug to block off the hole for the can, and then ran the two hoses to a catch can in addition to the hose off my valve cover on my ls vtec. worked great, all in probably $100 and the catch can was like $75 of that. If you search on here you'll find TONS of info on this, been covered many many times with pics.

Well I did made a search and I found lots of different setups, can't tell what's best.

I guess I'll run 2 lines from the bottom of the block, venting to the atmosphere, with no PCV valve

Just search on here and the part numbers are avail in the thread.. i cant remember where its at..

as long as your intake manifold isnt pulling in vapors, then that will keep the chance of detonation down. the back of block does work well if you dont have alot of blowby.. sometimes it pushes oil into the can. another method for vac source is the slashcut in the exhaust and have vapors sucked out thru the exhaust
