I'm trying to figure out if my buddy needs injectors or not.

He's got an 07 Si w/ the Cobb port, intake and exhaust. He's trying to get me to help him find injectors but I'm thinking he doesn't really need em. I don't know that much about cars tho. I was under the impression stock inj were good for a couple hundred horse power. I'm also trying to understand duty cycle and all that but he did say something about his being ike 60%.

So any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

You shouldn't go above 85 duty cycle on a regular basis. But If it's only in short bursts than there is nothing wrong with 100. That just means you are maxed out on injector size. If you would happen to need more fuel to maintain air fuel ratio you would not be able to.
