question about injectors and others
im starting to get more and more into the car scene, so i have a question.
im running what i believe to be pretty stock 99 civic si. i know it has some changes. like intake, short shifter, i believe fuel rail, and headers. what are some other stuff i can look for, to see if it has been upgraded? what cc's are the stock b16 injetors and what can i safely go to, to make my car faster? and how much faster would it make me

Re: question about injectors and others
Your engine uses 240 cc/min injectors. You can safely run 240 cc/min injectors with your setup, and you will go 0 seconds faster.
Larger injectors without tuning (or at least more air) will make the car less responsive, worse on gas, and less powerful. It will also wash the cylinder walls and increase wear.

i agree with DDD
Adding injectors wont do much at all for ya. Only time your going to go to bigger injectors is if your forcing more air into the engine, ie, turbo/supercharger. When adding more air like that, more fuel is necessary to maintain stoich a/f ratio (thats when more fuel is needed to run. So for now if i were you, i would budget what you want to build, and pick a goal. and go from there! good luck
