I was there for T & T absolutly sucked ***!!


I guess my timing was really bad. Anyway's 2 hours in the frigging sun, they finally call T & T, I get in the lane only to them not run the T & T lane and start 1st round of top ET.

I was like screw this and left!! I've never had a good experience at MIR (test and tunes), don't think I'm coming back tomorrow.

Weather is looking good we are racing 1/8 mile now, TD just went 5.97 Outlaw Class is gonna be sick!!!!

Today was the Speed Unlimited ET Series Double Header at MIR. Our website and dragline did not say it was a Test & Tune only. We set up a lane for NSCRA cars to test & tune before the NSCRA race so that they could get some track time if they needed it. Then their was a rain shower. C'mon bro, try to understand we are trying to accomodate everybody.

I understand it was a event with T & T thrown in, but still. I go and get tech'd and the guy tells me to wait until they call T & T. So I'm waiting and watching the 2nd session of the ET cars, the announcement is made for 1st round top ET cars lanes 1 & 2 and T & T Lane 7.

I sprint back to my car, get to lane 7. I'm sitting there waiting to be told to stage in hopes of squeezing in a pass, but no, they started staging the ET cars.

So the T & T window was open for what? 5 mins? What am I to do? wait another 2 hours to get a test pass in? I've been to other tracks during Major Mopar events (much bigger than today's race) and still managed to get in 4 to 6 test runs.

 

Yeah at least they gave a chance today to run TnT. that's pretty badass IMO to get a chance to do testing last minute before a big race
