Default Any of you northerners in clubs that autocross all year round?

With the offseason approaching for us here in northern Ohio, are there any northerners that get to autocross all year round? I vaguely remember reading about some clubs running a "winter series" or something like that. We get a lot of snow here in Ohio, but there are still descent weather days...but our local clubs dont autocross from November thru about April.

Input? Thoughts?

PS - I'm talking about northerners that get snow in the winter, not places like Nor Cal, northern Arizona, etc

I'm in Montreal (enough snow?) and we head east to Ottawa, Ontario for their winter Slush'n'Slide series. It's basically autocross in snow. Is that what you meant? Or did you mean plow the lot and autocross on asphalt? Anyway, I tried with my Civic and with an A4 Quattro and both were a blast. I'm going back with my rally beater this winter.

We have a few SoloII style events on frozen lakes in my region. They're run much like a rallycross in that runs are over 1 minute long and all runs count.

In New Hampshire, there is a Wintercross. I plan on competing this coming winter.

Our region stops in August and then other regions (about 1-2 hour drive) continue into the fall, and Philly (1 hour away) starts up the winter series in January for about 10 events. Very fun

No, I didn't mean autocross on snow. I meant have a winter schedule and make all events tentative based on weather and lot conditions. If the weather is descent, and the snow is melted, why not race? I know turnout would not be like it is in the warmer summer months, but thats not exactly a bad thing

I'm in Akron, near the snow belt of Cleveland. Sometimes we get hit pretty hard.
