I have a h22a1 in a eg (gutted)....my best time is 13.3 with just a simple setup. Just want to know if anyone else has a simple setup that runs a better time. Please post your time and setup

1) Intake: (Cold air)
2) Header: (stock with cut off pipe)
3) Ecu: (chip p28)
4) Tires: (22x8x13 MT)
5) Tranny: (H22 w/lsd)

 

i belive some people have got into the 12 sec range w h2b eg and crx chassie's
w just bolt on's....good header and good intake manifold

 

i see u have a computer have u been tuned or are u on a base map and could u give us a break down of the time slip and mph.

 

interested also, going to the dyno this weekend and then to the track once tires get here..would love to get the times IGOTK22 has with my full weight ej6.

 

i have done this identical setup several times in the past

i ran 12.8s w/ stock p13
and ran 12.6s w/ hondata

add a b16 trans and run 12.0s haha

 

i went 11.84 with a h2b with blox b's and a ssr header in a 90 hatch at IFO montgomery last month

 

about 10yrs ago my buddy had the same setup and ran a 13.20 but trapped 107mph so it probably had a 12.80 in it. he was having shifting problems.

 

This was done on stock h22 longblock, or h23 vtec bluetop? (just blox b's and header )

12.6 with chipped p28 ecu at Pomona raceway in 92 Civic 4 door full interior on 13x26" slicks.

 

stock h22 long block, blox b's(valve springs and retainers obviously) and a ssr header...

 

nice. Can you break down the 11.8 pass? (60ft, 1/8th mile etc. )

 

26's...guessing that was just a slick you had laying around?

Personal best with a h22 trans was 12.37@ 107mph (not sure on the trap)

 

i dont have the slip with me at the moment but i think it was:
60ft: 1.67
1/8: 7.55 @ 93
1/4: 11.84 @ 113.8

 

I've just learned how to drive a stick for like a year. It was my first time ever!! down a 1/4 miles...i was so nervous. I didn't expect 13.3 out of this car.....got so excited i don't know what happen to the time slip. Its just a chipped p28....

 

yeah they were sitting in a shed for a few years and it was all i had so i ran them.
