Parked at the Circle K and could'nt make the car start....D4 LIGHT BLINKING
The car was running fine, i didnt notice anything different before it crapped on me. turned the car off, less than 5 minutes later i tried to start it and nothing.
The D4 light blinks, as soon as the key is in the ON position.
The Gear Selector on the dash moves and lights up according to the shifter.
The Engine turns over, but car wont start in any gear; (P, R, N, D4, etc.)
Where should i start? Car is a 2000 Prelude with a Crap-Tronic Transmission.

i tried getting the engine codes off of the car but when i jump the blue connector (next to the OBDII connection), and try to retrieve the codes, nothing happens....
also, the fuel pump doesnt kick on when i turn the key to the ON position..

Check your fuses first then make sure the check engine light is lighting up with the key in the on position, this will show if the PCM is getting power. Next take it to a shop with an OBD2 scan tool to get the codes. The transmission and engine management systems are linked together on later models so you need the complete picture from a scan tool to see what is going on.
Sorry I am way out of touch, does the 2000 still use a Main Relay to operate the fuel pump. But yes you need to get the code as directed earlier and let us know what it is. A paperclip in the blue connector with key on, engine off, will flash the check engine light in a series of slow and fast flashes with longer pauses between codes, let us know.
