I wouldn't know what to look for. That's why I need a mechanic to check it out. I think it might have rod knock cuz when i turn the crank I hear a noice coming from the first cylinder.

Mechanics hit me up please.

I see, if it has a rod knock, might as well open it and inspect the rods for shavings.
But I understand you would rather hear its good from a mechanic.

Yeah I bought the engine from a fellow HT'er that said the engine was out of a 92 in good cond, 130-140xxx, no rod knocks, no leaks no bullshit. Now I want to have a mechanic look at it to find out wether or not to ask the guy for a refund if the engine has rod knock.

Thanks for the bump guys.

Help me help my lil bro get his car back on the road.

Thats a good plan that way you can tell him a mechanic told you it was bad and it wasnt just your opinion.
