Oil in spark plug area
Strangest thing, last year I replaced of the spark plug gaskets cause I noticed oil at the top of the spark plugs.
So a year later I looked and all are bone dry except the on cylinder #1, the one closet to the accessories.
I see no oil leaking from the gasket down the walls to the spark plug.
Am I missing something? Should just be the gaskets near the top of the walls that keep the oil out right?

Those bottom o-rings are much harder to replace and for the job to be done with no risky shortcuts, the timing belt needs to come off. Might be a good idea to first have a look at the VC gasket and grommet in the area of that plug. Perhaps there is a tear or something got pinched and you didn't realize it. When you put it back together torque plugs and VC to exact Honda specs. Many a leak has been related to under or over torquing.
