Hey guys I bought a SRR knock off tiebar to install in my 98 civic but ran into problems with the hardware they provided. When trying to screw in the bolt for lca to subframe, it was really tight but I kept going. When it was impossible to keep tightening I took it back out and saw that I have stripped 1/3 of the subframe locknut thread and part of the bolt that I tried to screw in. So the bolt they gave me was bigger than that for the subframe but does anyone know where I could find this extended bolt for the tiebar? I tried using the stock bolt but it wasn't long enough. Thanks in advance.

 

the oem bolt is m10 x 1.25 80mm long. go to your local hardware store and grab a high quality bolt that is the proper size and length

 

Make sure it's stainless steel. ^^

I'd put some anti-seize on them as well.
