When i start my car my maintenance req light flashes 10 times is that for a scheduled dealer maintenance reminder or what??? Thanks all

 

I've been gone for a year or so, but I recall this being covered before a long time ago. You could probably try searching for it and get some good results!!

my light is also on but i doesnt turn off.... i already did oil change and any other maintenance i believed was needed any help on wat the problem might be?

 

The problem is that you dont know how to turn of the light, your car doesnt know you did all the maintenance work.The light is there to remind you to take it to the dealership to get the required work done by them and they will turn the light off for you. Since you did all the maintenance work, you just need to learn how to turn the light off, but ill let you search for it since it is not that hard.

 

The reminder light is going to stay on until you manually turn it off.

 

this place gets dumber and dumber by the day.

OP: push in your trip odometer reset (hold it in, idiot), and turn your key to the "on" position while holding down the button. wait a few seconds and *BAM*, your light is off.
