Accord WONTSTART back up after turned off when HOT.
I had my starter replace while ago so I no thats not the problem. SO after I drive my accord for awhile and it gets hot I turn it off and try starting it again. It starts up but dies instantly. Then I try starting again and it wants to turn over but doesnt... It only does it after its hot and only when I try turning it over right after I turned it off. Thanks, also looked in previous posts but couldn't find anything useful.
What year?
What does turn over mean? Does the engine crank and not start? Or, does the engine not crank at all.
Crank = Wa Wa Wa Wa Wa
No crank = * silence *

Its a 94 accord EX and it defiantly cranks.. WA WA WA. It always starts up once then dies then goes to the WA WA WA when I try to start it again. Someone said somethin about a starter solenoid but I figured that would of been fixed with a BRAND NEW starter.
Probably nothing wrong with the starter or it's solenoid since the engine cranks.
Given the vintage of the vehicle I would suspect the PGMFI Main Relay faulty. You can perform input tests to confirm. What I have done in the past is to listen for an audible "click" from behind the dash when the Check Engine Light goes out. ( Key on, not start )
If you don't hear a click, the main relay is likely faulty.

I Hear the click everytime I turn the ignition to the first click. I know plenty bout hondas but this one keeps me guessin.
I'm not talking about a click when you turn the ignition to the first click. I'm talking about a click from the main relay when the Check Engine Light goes out.

I was probably just gonna upgrade my ignition system to a MSD box.. I dont think thats what it is though. Maybe one of the two you said. IDk its a weird problem.
Intermittent crank/no-start on your vehicle is usually one of three things; PGMFI Main Relay, Ignition Coil, Ignition Control Module. You can test all three of those things without guessing, though. What tools do you have? Do you own a multimeter?
How's the running while it's heating up? Does it feel odd, underpowered or like there is a miss that makes you feel you have to keep the rev's up to keep it running? Does this problem happen most when your fuel tank is below ¼ full? If true, you might try filling it up and dumping a can of SeaFoam in the gas tank with the new gas. Possibly some debris in tank that only causes trouble when fuel gets low. Also check for corrosion build up on coil wire, plug wires, etc. My Accord accumulates corrosion on the coil wire fairly often and it causes some weird starting and running. More often than not a running or starting problem with an Accord is something fairly simple to fix. Think simple, first.
