Seeing as how the B16A and B18C5 use the exact same head casting - PR3 - I'm sure the head will bolt up just fine.

Sure, if you want a bottled up ITR motor. Do yourself a favor and get the head port and polished beforehand...at least then you'll be up to par with a B18c5.

It should bolt right up. I think the B16A head and the B18C5 head flow pretty close to the same...but you should definately upgrade the cams to atleast CTR cams, if not something better. Port and polish wouldn't hurt either.

I second that.............

besides the hand port and polish job, lighter valves, stiffer valvetrain, and more aggressive cams, the head is identical.

All I said was the casting is identical - that means that they bolt up the same.

Hell a GS-R head will bolt up too.

Although the Type R and B16A heads are the same casting, as others havementioned the Type R gets a mild P&P and of course better innards too.

haha thanks everyone you have been a really good help, i was just a bit worried, because i know the type r integra uses that 1.8l block with a b16 head p&p but i was wondering if the stock one would be okay because of the higher compression of the pistons i didnt want to ruin the block or the head but thanks for all the good information.
