I've searched and found only found DIY, which I don't need until I get this question answered.

I am looking at a del sol for sale and he says that all the AC lines are there, it's just the compressor that needs to be installed.

It's a B16A swaped, I'm guessing he had a little D series, but still has the PS, just no AC.

I was wondering if, does all the 1992-95 civic ex/si/-dx/cx(if it came with it)ac compressor will work for the car and how do I know it's only the compressor that needs to be installed for it to work.

I'm going in an hour to go look at it and what should be the things I need to look out for?

Would I need to clean anything since the hoes weren't connected to anything?

EDIT: Forgot to mention it was a 1993.

 

if the car is a 92-93 then you need a matching 92-93 compressor and convert to r134a.
if the car is 94+ then you need the compressor 94+ and properly refill.
A r134a compressor doesnt work on r12(92-93) lines, you'ld have to swap EVERYTHING to work the new comp in a older car
