03 ody rear quarter windows won't open. I can hear power getting to them,but won't move. same thing on both sides. Can anyone elaberate? Would greatly appreciate any help. Have a great day everyone!

 

anyone have a suggestion. Is there a chance it might be the switches?relay?

 

replace the motors, they fail all the time.

 

I was afraid that might be the case. It doesn't look like a difficult job, but it's the cost of 2 motors i don't like. Thanks for the help.

 

Its a little strange that they both went out at the same time, you say the job doesnt look too bad, take it apart and hot wire the motors and see if they work, I understand these things may have a history but better look a little closer and do a good troubleshooting first.

They both may share a portion of circuitry, maybe one power wire is frayed at the front door hinge area and cant deliver enough Amperage to operate the motor???
