OEM b16 intake cam on the exhaust side?
Guys,
I read somewhere I canīt find it now that when you install a ITR/CTR intake camshaft your oem camshaft can be used on the exhaust side. is that true?
I read specs on b16 oem intake and are similar to ITR exhaust (not the same but similar)
Am I crazy when thinking the combinataion of these to? if this is possible the only limitation I can find thinking a little bit is thet maybe I should mild the nose of the cam to fit inside the head seal.
but if this is possible it is an interesting and cheap way of getting a few ponies.
If this is possible I will kill myself cause I already bought Blox type A camshafts and I would have tried this first

Someone claimed to have done it in the JRSC thread.
In order to even attempt this you would need to re-key the cam 180deg from its factory position as it is 180 deg out of phase from what it would need to be.
