Default 11.67@118 New Time

I did a little tunning on the hondata a few nights ago. My tuning under full boost was set at 2 degrees and we bumped it up to 17. That made a nice differance. I was also running on 104 (thats the highest unleaded octane at the track). I also added a set of Z10 arms. I was on 22/8/15 slicks.

rt- .608
1/8-7.57
1/4-11.67
mph-118.31

I also ran on my street tires 555r before I left

60-2.195
1/8-8.36
1/4-12.583
mph-115.51

My 11.6 run was on 15psi and I turned the boost up to 16.5psi and ran two 11.8's. When I ran on street tires I was at 14psi.
I was shifting into 5th about 100' before the 1/4 so I need to look into some 24.5/8/15's. Can I get much better than a 1.84 60' on 22's?

what psi are you running in your tires?? i would think you'd hit some 60 ft's in the mid 1.70's. maybe your slicks are getting old. get some 24.5's and you'll see your 60's regularly in the 1.70's and you won't be shifting into 5th. nice times.

actually try to invest in one of those infrared temp readers from National or Summit ... those things are handy, do a burnout and have a friend read temp across both contact patch on slicks, if too much variance from one end to another adjust your camber ... sometimes its that simple.

but 22" on boost can go down to 1.7's I've done it years before there weren't even traction bars back then. Don;t be scared to go low pressure too.

One other thing to check is the ign maps at the launch, try to keep that retarded with the hondata, keep in the mid to low 20's and go as high as 28 on 4th.

I was running 9.5psi, doing 2nd gear burnouts with alot of smoke and launching at 7000. Is it possiable to get the slicks to hot?

You could probably run about 22 degrees safely at that octane level, especially if you're built. Just a thought . . .
