temp guage spikes and goes down

temp guage spikes and goes down

my car will stay at normal running temp but when the fan turns on the temp guage needle goes all the way up to hot. and when fan turns off back to normal temp. any1 else have this happen to them?? any ideas??

Bleed all the air out of the coolant system.?

ya. used the spill free and bleed all the air out. car is converted to obd1 too
