Just wondering if there was any backround on this shell VIN, is . JH4DC2314WS002984 as I'm trying to find out what happen to the badge # and where the stock motor went to after ? Besides of what was posted by the owner that ownes it now! Just wondering before I pick her up ! Thanks for any info

 

Based off the information you provided the badge number is 98-68003 and it was stolen in Long Beach, CA. The motor spent most of it's life in a 92 civic sedan but is now for sale on b20vtec.com

I did originally in my first post I was making. But I messed up some how and lost the first post . I missed that when I rewrote my post sorry . I edited it so it's listed now again back up top.

 

what color is the shell? wheres it located? year? jdm or usdm front? pics? this kind of info would help

It looks like she is 98-0469. Joe would have info on her past. I did a couple quick searches on H-T with no luck...someone else might have better luck.

Interesting. I don't have any info on that particular caR by badge or VIN. Funny. Seems that VINs close to this one are mostly in the #150-160 range...but a few got badges in the mid 400s. Definitely a case of assembly line guy just grabbing some badges out of order.

No info on 98-0469. till start of when she arrives into my hands sometime next week .

 

Here are some quick facts:

1. Not every Type-R owner is a register member, lurker, or occasional visitor to the Honda-Tech Acura Integra Type R forum (You Are Here)
2. There are a whole lot of ITRs that were made each year (see FAQ for numbers), stolen, rebuilt, resold, cut up and dispersed over various scrap sites, etc..
3. I found the car's original engine FS thread at b20vtec.com

 

Yes I understand that not every type-R owner is on a forum,or a lurker,or even realy care about it .LIKE me .BUT this is why I'm asking in the. Integra TYPE-R specific forum .And not on the honda-tech part of this fourm site....
