I buy any civic I see for under $500 unless its competely burnt to the ground. Hell you can get $350 if you take it to the scrap yard.

If it is exactly as described with a pretty good body it's definitely a good deal.

A definite plus if the engine can be repaired/replaced cheap.

yea thats fixable, but there is going to be way more money into panel replacement and rust repair than he spent on the whole car real quick, unless he does it himself... but 400 bucks, and spare quarter panels, thats worth it, dive in. whats your plans for a motor??

it does however lead me to think what kind of surprises could be hiding under that bondo. more damage under that paint most likely, and also, rust is kinda more of an EF thing, haha, havent seen too many eg's with rusted q-panels...makes you wonder about its history, a coastal car maybe?!? i'd still buy it though. just gotta think about those things early. gl

i take back my previous statement after having seen the pics. i'd rather just keep my money then spend it on that mess of a car :/ to give you an idea, this is what my $300 car looks like

i was cleaning and installing a heater control panel in this pic lol

the back..some rust, but not terrible.

and here's one of the inside.

so if i were you, i'd save your money and hold out for something better.

lets put it this way if I were to buy another eg hatch I would come to wisconsin and buy this under you. You better hop on that deal! Just make it your little boosty hatchy and swap a cheap stock LS-T in it! Rear quarter panels rust is nothing compared to what I have seen ppl fix!

On second thought it is missing that gas door...OH NOOOOOOO!!!!!! LMAO

what kind of suspension is there?

man, if that is what you guys consider "decent" shape, i'm so glad to be living in los angeles. i would not bother with that car. you'd spend a lot more money putting it back together. save your cash and buy something with a nicer body. you'd save yourself the headache of fixing it all up. doesn't make sense to me.

Same here. It looks repairable, but man I'd be worried what you would find under some of that sheet metal...

If you could get it cheaper it would definitely be worth it to sell the parts at least.

I should have taken pics of all the stuff inside: I think there's a whole other suspension for it, fogs, rear quarters, headlights, corner lights and seats. and some other stuff I'm sure.
