hi

can too thin or too soft hose for blow off can prevent it from working properly? which could be result of turbo surgery??

Ive used stock honda vacuum hose to connect hks blowoff,

 

i had small vacuum hose on mine and it wasnt pulling enough vacuum.... it woldnt hold boost through shifts it was gay having to build boost every time

i only use 1/4" fuel line for my vac hoses.. never had a problem with it, plus it doesn't degrade under high heat like i've had the thin rubber vacuum hose do.. it's a little more expensive the first time, but i've never had to replace it..

 

Use silicone instead of rubber- that should solve your problem

 

Also make sure your bov is not locked up or sticky, My tial got sticky and i had to take it apart and clean it...

 

Go to your local truck dealer or repair shop and buy some push lock fittings and dot line that is your best bet at getting a great hose that will not collapse and will hold up just fine.Paintball guns use them also I think they are called macro fittings.
