Any check engine lights? Unused plugs? What ecu are you running?

I just dropped a GSR in my EM1 two days ago and had the same problem as you just minus the large flux in idle, mine would fluctuate from 2000-2200 rpm. I'm using my b16 wiring harness and my stock Si (P2T) ecu for the time being. Try swapping the plugs on the MAP and TPS sensor and see if that makes a difference bc I had mine mixed up. I honestly can't remember exactly what fixed that problem but when I took it around the block the car wouldnt let me go past 2200 RPM. Another thing is double check all you vacuum lines and search for vacuum leaks. Google for GSR vacuum diagrams to use as a reference but if you can't find them let me know and I'll post them up for you.

First thing you need to do is jump the service pin and check the codes (if you don't know how to do that thre is a thread stickied at the top of the eg/Ek forum). Tell us what codes are coming up if any so you can help US help YOU. It looks like we are in the same boat with the swap so problems that you may be having I might have had also so we can help each other out and answer each others questions. I'm subscribing to this thread so be sure to keep us updated on ANYTHING new.

Try to pull the codes if you can that will be the MOST
helpful in figuring out your problem.

i dont know if your saying the idle is bouncing from 1k-2k if so look on the back of the intake manifold and see if you have a idle air control valve, if so there's 2 10mm bolts that hold it to the IM, take it off there should be a little screen in there. Take some brake cleaner and hose the **** out of it and wipe it with some paper towel install and it should idle if that was the problem, worked on my b16a
