CRX rear fogs
I had a broken CRX center tail light section. So I looked inside. It has a perfect spot for fog lights.
My plan is to heat up the good one in the oven, remove the rectangle plate and cut a hole for a light socket. I,m going to use LED lights. It will be like a Volvo rear fog light built into the regular tail lights.

Yes there are spots, but it might not work. Look at your broken kense there is an underside that will block out the light that would come from your "rear fog." it would be easier to convert the 90-91 style lights because the rear fogs are actually used in place of one of the reverse lights. You could essentially take apart a 90-91 center piece and add some red lense vynil or some glass paint and call it a day.
But I could be wrong about the 88-89 style lights that you are going to be using. Keep us updated regardless.
