Tail lights with Fog lamps? I've never heard of those. I've only seen Backup lights in Tail lights.

What does the "fog lamp" look like? Because, if you're referring to the clear lamp amidst the red, that would be considered a "Backup light" not a "fog lamp". A fog lamp inferrs that you need it to see through fog, and that would only be necessary for this situation, if you were driving backwards everywhere you went.

It's a smaller red light that is a bright as the brake lights. They usually turn on with the front fog lights.

I know for a fact that the Asian market sedans didn't have the rear fog light built into the normal taillights. There is a cutout with the lamp in the lower left of the bumper.

A lot of euopean cars (in europe)have foglights in the back so people behind you can see your car sooner.

I could see where that would come in handy. I might look into getting some for my em. We get alot of fog when i get up in the mornings 0300-0400 here in TN. So it would be extremely useful. Anybody know where we could find them??? Seeing as they are a EDM part, would they fit??? Or is everything the same like that????

I see what they are now, and I can relate to their application. But, considering the 7th gen Non-Si Hatch Civic was a North American-based Civic, I'd suppose that there isn't such a product. I most certainly could be wrong, though.

Well, I only deal with the EDM coupe parts, so here's a reference picture for the rear fog light.

You'll either need to try to get a dealer from over there to send you the part, OR try to talk to Greg from Speedwerx, he might be able to help you out. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I have the same name on 7thgen.

Can you get that rear bumper? I've been trying to over a year now, and no one will ship it.

i believe this is the fog light integrated into the tail light that the OP is talking about.

You can try contacting Marcus for your EDM fog tails. Great guy and great service.

The only problem with those tails, is that they're for the wrong generation of Civic. This is the 7th gen Civic being mentioned, not the 5th.

I don't see he purpose of that light....you could just drive with your parking lights on and do the same thing...

normally yes,

but with newer tails (the ones pictured suck) when your in the fog the rear light gives people a good extra 100-300ft more space to see you,

prolly even more space, it just depends on how heavy the fog is.

on the 7thgen the foglight isnt built into the tails its actually molded into the rear bumper on the left side and its red. but thats only on euro car none of them in the states have it.
