engine wont idle until shifting from drive to nuetral/park
My 91 DX wont idle while in drive when stopping at a light. I have to shift it from drive to neutal or park. Once I shift from drive to neutral or park it will idle normally and stay normal when I shift it to drive again. Once I apply power it will drive normally, but when I come to a stop it will again idle high. It does this hot or cold. I have changed the IACV and FITV with new parts. I need help. Killing me in brakes and very annoying. Had a problem here in the snow, just would drag the rear tires with the brakes locked.

The car will start normally and idle and rev just fine. When you put it in D and drive it will drive normally, but when you let off the gas it will stay up in RPM's and stay there. You have to shift it in N or P. Could the re be a problem with the tranny computer or sensors? Just a thought.
