white smoke?!?/preivous injector problem
ok i fixed my injector problem.. b4 it was just dumping fuel into the head
i rewired each injector to the ecu directly
now i have white smoke.. car runs the same as it been b4 the injector problem.. now just smokes
could this be something to do with all the fuel it was dumping in?
car is crx dx with b18b obd1 running obd0 injectors

do they go out over night?
the car sat for a week while i was fixing the injector problem
you dont think it could be related to the fuel problem at all?

A head gasket can go very slowly over time, or very quickly and start leaking very suddenly.
The only other thing could be maybe a leaky coolant passage that getting into your engine somewhere. I once had that problem on a B20, where is was getting in through by the intake manifold...i had to replace the intake manifold gasket

the only reason i dont think its the hg is cause it ran perfect b4 and after sitting for a week and all the fuel that was getting dumped into the head.. i think that it could possibly be fuel sitting in the cylinders? idk i guess i hope that is it lol
what else could i look for.. for the hg being bad?

the white smoke is from dumping way too much fuel into your combustion chamber. Dont waste your time ****ing with your cooling system. Swap out your injectors with a known working set.
Dude, that makes no sense. Dumping fuel? When you burn rich...lots of fuel, it burns BLACK!!!!!
ok i have also heard heard that as well.. the too much fuel = white smoke
but i also know white smoke is coolant problem..
this is why i am stuck

Too much fuel by no means is white smoke, If the cylinder is cold and there is excess fuel you could possibly get a grayish smoke. As a rule of thumb Excessive fuel = black smoke, oil = bluish smoke, water/coolant = white smoke. You will get some grayish smoke from cold starts but it will go away as soon as it warms up a tad.
def not a fuel problem or leaking injectors like guy above me said it will smoke only when cold as the fuel that collected on top of the piston is burned but only when started and for a few seconds.... white smoke equals coolant pull out your spark plugs and inspect them for deposits to give you an idea
all spark plugs looked good, except the one in cylinder 1.. this was the bad injector the plug was black and you could see the gas on it still
does your car smoke while idle and smoke more when you accelerate? if so let me know if you can figure out the problem.
i have a b20vtec setup in my db1 and just started smoking one day. My cuzzin told me to replace the head gasket. So i did along with replacing the spark plug, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter.
car is still throwing white smoke. People are telling me that i might have a crack head/block. I really hope not. Let me know how this goes!

Cracked head iss very possible. I took the car out beven though it smoked lastnight. Got on it a little bit. And no more smoke. At least from what I could see at night. Car ran good. No problems. My problem had to be all the fuel that was sitting in the cylinder just needed burned out. Do a compression check on ur head

solve my problem
how long has your car been like this?
Just so everyone knows.. my white smoke was not a hg problem.
i drove it lastnight put 150miles on it checked it this morning and it doesnt smoke at all anymore.. must have just been the fuel in the cylinder

Glad you got it fixed! Was one of your injectors previously stuck open. You most likely had a sticky injector that may have fixed itself. To all the people swearing up and down white smoke is coolant maybe you can learn from this not to always jump to a bad hg.
