What is this ITR worth?
My friend wants to put his ITR up for sale but isn't sure what it is worth. It is a 98 CW with a full wire tuck and brake line tuck. The interior and exterior are bone stock with the exception of polished slipstreams. It has avid solid mounts with an h22a4 in it. The paint is great. It is a theft recovery title.

At this point, I'll go with the estimate before--maybe $6-7K as-is.
def 6-7K. with these modifications he could have done this to an LS or GSR and got 6-7K out of it. No one is going to want to pay top dollar for a bastardized R with a poopy motor in it and rotas.

hmm...?? from the looks of it i think this caR would be a great buy for $6,500. Way?? cause you can pick up a clean itr shell for $4-5k and h22 are going to run you like $2,200-2,800. $7,500 i just think is a lilo to much i think!! would LOVE to see more pics
I haven't seen any nice, clean title ITR's in that price range yet.
It's amazing how people can even destroy an ITR like it's a mass produced Civic or Accord.
I'd have to disagree with you there. An H motor can be built to handle rediculous amounts of boost when you sleeve it, a lot of displacement, ect, you have to remember it IS a HONDA made engine, so it's not just a piece of ****. But I agree it should not be in an ITR chassis.

Can I have some of what this guy's smoking?
OP, offer 6 and pickup a swap and de-bastardize it and you'll have a pretty nice theft recovery R. 9-10k total investment
Is it just me or does anyone else hate the JDM sidemarkers on a USDM R???

I wouldn't go near any honda with a wire tuck, it frightens me that the retards on these forums are even attempting it. A few are done right, but most are certified electrical nightmares.
i think this car is worth a solid 6k to someone. i'd never touch one missing abs but some probably will. add 3.5k for a full jdm itr swap and it could be a nice DD
sirius isn't smoking ****. that is what a decent high mile salvage title R pulls.the biggest reason salvage cars are selling down is A: you have to be a cash buyer and B: clean title cars aren't fetching that much more. you guys bitched at 15k for a 22k mile car last week just because it had a supercharger. if 22k mile cars are only getting 15k a 100k mile car in otherwise good shape should never pull more than 10k-ish even though they sometimes sure do.

The reason why the 98 w/ 22k was taking some heat was because of the addition of FI on a high compression NA engine. That detracts from the value of the car in 90% of prospective buyers minds. An ITR w/ 22k on the clock, 100% stock, 100% original paint and body panels can fetch 18-20k depending on buyer, condition, location, etc.
Show me one ITR salvage or not with a C5 engine, stock exterior and interior that goes for 6k
From the sounds of it you don't own an ITR.

btw, the only reason i don't have an itr vin is because of my hatred of a solid roof panel. i purposely sought a gsr shell for the build up because of this. it's really not difficult to buy a 1000 dollar itr shell, i've been offered 2 over the past couple years
local dealer had one in seattle for 6500. one caveat though, it was rolling on a 4lug, rest was correct. also a high miler like 150k
