Default Your Engine Break-In Process?

Im finishing up my motor and would like to know what the "proper" break-in process was. The motor has a new bore/hone, new pistons/rings, reconditioned rods, new rod bolts, new rod/main bearings, new HG

So i was wondering if I should push the car right away or take it easy for a few hundred miles? Would I be able to run the car correctly on a STOCK gsr ECU on an LS/Vtec setup? I WILL get the car tuned, but that cant happen until Mid-July, so I would like to take the time from NOW until then to break in the car properly.

Thanks H-T
