If you have a b-series engine, it would be wise to have a b-series fuel pump. All b-series fuel pumps flow the same except for the GSR and ITR which flow a little more. I drove around for a couple weeks with my stock cx fuel pump after I got my swap done and it felt weak when I hit vtec. I was afraid of detonation so I got an ITR fuel pump from Jerome @ sohfast. After installation, vtec threw me in the backseat.

ITR/GS-R = 131 Liters / hour
all the rest = 79 liters / hour

upgrade the pump.

I called a while back to verify that the various fuel pumps were different and YES they are.

1992-1995 Civic Si/EX fuel pump is a different part number from the lower models.
1994-2001 Integra GS-R/Type R are the same pump and are more costly than the lower models as well.

It's not a bad idea to upgrade to somehting at least like an Si/EX one or something.

Go to a local salvage and get yourself a 1st gen Turbo elcipse pump. Direct bolt in and more fuel then an ITR pump. I paid $50 for mine.

If you get a 96-up ITR or GSR fuel pump, it will bolt in with no modifications. All you have to do is switch the placement of both tubes because from 96-up, the air tube and gas tube are in opposite places from the pre 96.

JOEBLAZE78: You do not HAVE to replace the fuel pump since you have an EX model, yours should be sufficient until you start modding your engine heavily, FI or Nitrous.

Bought mine there. Excellent, flow from 5500 k to redline. You "CAN" feel the difference. 255lph

My setup is B18C1 in CX.
