Thinking about selling my car.
So i just recently bought a project car and now im thinking twice about it and i want something that runs, and i dont have to much money to dump into it.Im only a freshmen in highschool so my budget is 150 bucks a month to spend on it.The car needs alot of work the motor and tranny were pulled out but i still have them, interior is mostly gutted and dirty a little bit.Advice would be great, let me know how much you think i can get for it with it all primered and cleaned up.Let me know if everything seems normal to you guys thank you.

Looks like a bunch of work. i would have bought it for 150 though maybe. im only a jr and highschool and im lookin to find another one to start on because i need one for a dd. Id start with just cleaning it up and taking off the bumpers and fenders haha. that will give you some work to do while you save. Take your time finding parts, dont rush into anything and just look for good deals. sence you have a very low budget.

I would sell this one or keep as a spare.
I have put countless hours of work and visits to pick and pull to get mine going and it was was in running condition. You could keep it if you are completely dedicated to this and want to rebuild this car as a learning experience. If you'll have fun doing that, go for it. If not, you may want to sell. I have had several bouts of disinterest in my car, but it always comes back to me because the time I've spent wrenching it.
Get a good motor for her though (B-series), she needs one that you'll enjoy unlike the stock one.

power steering came on 99% of overseas models, not just the 'rare and elusive' SIR. Manual racks are for rarer.

if you lived closer i'd pick it up from you, i'm looking (some what) for a clean shell for annother project im wanting to put together...
auto trans, all power options (including ac)
dohc zc swap
sedan seats up front
decent stereo
ef9 stock exhaust
intake
rear discs
rims
slamage.
that's my plans... but who knows if it'll happen
for those who were wondering, that looks to be an aftermarket factory installed sun roof. i've seen multiple ef's with them... an ex sedan, my buddies hf, this one, a random hatch i looked at fs, etc.
o/p, trust me, as a freshman in high school who more than likely cant drive without an adult riding shot gun, the last thing you wanna do in h/s is spend each check on another stupid part for the fixer upper. save up your checks, buy a decent or "ok" but RUNNING car that needs some work. i learned the hard way.
