i did a mini-me swap/rebuild with a d16a6 block and a z6 head. now im doing all the tuning. but what i need to know is what rev limiter i should set it at.
the z6 limiter is 7200. and the a6 limiter is around 6800 or so.
do i set it z6 or a6. and when should vtec engage as well.

Vtec- 5400

I had my boosted y8 run till 7800 and vtec at 5200 on one of my tunes.

No problem, I beleive stock is like 5400- 5600. A little earlier wouldn't hurt

 

nah not at all. im just askin cause im getting a chipped ecu and needed a base. if they change it after i dyno it then fine
