Default Building the Ultimate Alarm System...

Ok so check this out, I have had tons of people tell me how easy it is to steal a rex and when I decided to get one I though how the fawk I am I gonna prevent some piece of **** from stealing it. Realizing that the possibility was inevitable I decided i would devise a fool proof alarm system that would trigger silently on top of a noisy traditional car alarm. Thanks to my background in I.T. and Electronics Engineering I decided i would share this one its completed.

The concept is as follows:

GPS tracking systems suck, most of the time if they are out of line of sight then you lose signal and communication. But using a cellphone would allow you to bypass direct satellite requests as they are routed to the nearest cell phone tower when the satellite is out of sight. This had to be a cheap solution as no one would want to use a iPhone as it is too expensive but even so in some cases it is still worth it.

I did some research into cheap prepaid cell phones and found that some already has GPS chips on them.
So in the following weeks I am going to completely reverse engineer a go phone and use it as a tracking system that will begin to log a cars GPS coordinates as it moves. The device will only turn when the alarm is activated and will send you a text warning that the car is moving sending you GPS coordinates in real time. this way the GPS device cannot be blocked inside a tunnel or a garage wrapped in foil (Chop Shop) and if it is well you have the direct trail right until it was disabled.
This will allow you to go home pick up your glock and get a ride to the location ready to blast the piece of **** who thought got away with your baby.

Once i have them project completed I will show you all how to wire it so that it recharges and how to secure it in your vehicle so that a thief cant just pull it off, it will take a welder.
I am tired of pieces of **** who steal other peoples hard work only to part it out and sell them on ebay.

Hope you all are interested as I am ^_______^

Well assuming you have no idea that this device is installed... and 2 this is only going to be mark 1 of the device design. As time progresses I am sure i will create some cool features that will change bands and or possible anti-jamming features. I will focus first on the design, once this is complete then I will move onto anti-jamming/scrambling functionality.

Can I get a keyless entry feature with this? And will I have to stand by my car and flash the piece at everyone who gets too close?...............

great idea on the alarm, I feel the theft of my car is a possibility, I got to do everything to protect it, since it is completely original, and has low mileage, in the best year and color, I got a viper 2 way at a minimum, engine immobilizer, a steering wheel club, and a fuel cut off, this would take hours to get through all of it so I think I'm good to go, but a tracker would be nice

Ok, I came in here expecting to see a brick of C-4 wired into the ignition with a failsafe toggle. No explosion, no ultimate security. Is it really that bad in California that people want to steal at best 20 year old car?

He is asking a legit question; here's another great theft deterrent - Full coverage insurance appraised for the value of your modifications.

"OMGWTFBBQ I don't want to pay that much each month!" Guess what, you sleep better at night knowing you can get a check cut if your ride gets jacked.

For every technology system, there is a way to circumnavigate it; you should be glad we tell you these things and not keep them to ourselves.

Autopage makes an alarm that does this, I' have it in my car, my job sales it as well once I get back there and get the exact model number i'll share it. It's basically a Traditional Alarm (I've wired in Keyless entry, Window Control [On my power opted vehicles], Individual door unlocking, Kill switch and Fuel Cut and a slew of other options, has MANY channels, if ur good at MEI you can fully harness the limits of this units potential) and a GPS logger that's connected directly to your phone (You pay $100 for the year, provide them with your contact number, ect and you're good to go). If your car is stolen it not only shows you their location, current direction of movement, speed, and distance from your phone but you can access your cars security options via phone from ANY distance.

I woke up one time after a rough night once, noticed my car was gone but had not been forcibly taken (You can track your cars position at any time regardless, forced entry will only send an actual alert that ur cars been broken into), I shut the car done right from my bed, hangover and all, got into my other car, drove it to the location only to find my buddy on the side of the road with the hood up, he had drove me home and crashed, was making a breakfast run.

Still..it works.

And it's worth the money.

you have no idea how bad it is here in cali, when it comes to 20 years old car. even my stock car get break into it. It's so bad that sometimes when someone tries to steal my car i have to stay awake with my camo gear and a 400fps famas, just to make sure nobody try to tow my car.

Cool well let me know what it is, model number and what not. This will prevent me from doing all kinds of work that has potentially already been done. I am looking into anti-jamming devices and theoretic. As this is also a real threat to the GPS device using GSM and other bands.
Thanks for the heads up too.
