hondta question please help

Default hondta question please help

hey fellow honda-tech guys,

well im am looking to order my hondata S300 for my turbo ls motor for my eg coupe. How ever im running the greddy electronic boost controller and im new to the hondata i always ran chrome. since im running that boost controller do i have to have the S300 with the boost control and theboost control solenoid..

motor is stock ls block
golden eagle bock guard
manley H beam rods
wiseco 9.1 comp pistons
head is ls head ported and polished
Brian crower dual valve springs
brian crower titaniu retainers
brian crower stage 2 ls turbo cams
skunk 2 intake mani
inline pro turbo mani with 38mm tial
with a holeset he 341 turbo

pease guys help me out so i can order this

No you do not have to purchase the hondata boost control package unless you plan on using the hondata ecu to control your boost.

The s300 doesn't come as a 'boost package'. You just have to have the pwm boost parts in your ECU and use the hondata boost control solenoid. The regular S300 will work with any boost controller, but the hondata boost control solenoid is controllable through the ECU if it has the pwm parts installed. My friend just looked into this and just ordered the P28 with the pwm parts installed for his s300 http://www.hamotorsports.com/s300obd1ecu.html
it works fine with his manual boost controller, but now if he upgrades to the hondata boost controller he can control the boost in the S manager software through the ECU

thanks for the help guys im going to be ording my s300 i cant wait heard its unbeleivable compared to chrome just so much more you can do.
