Turbo brake rev help?????????
So today i went to go test drive a turbo automatic corolla from what i can tell it drives good no smoke or any leaks that i could see supposedly it has eagle rods and pistons its boosted at 6psi but supposeldy can take 15 so before driving i checkd all the button gas and brake and i noticed that when i press the brake and let go i revs a lilttle bit not much Is this normal for an automatic turbo car ????? i figured it was something like brake boosting anyways And its running a big t3t4 turbo incase that helps and what else should i look for any red flags?? any help is apriciated also it boost correctly has an air fuel mixture of 14.3 most of the time and dropes to 12.7 while at idle is this normal and any help or comments are appreciated thanks.
would the engine have to have somthing in order to handle 15psi on a big t3t4 turbo and still anyone with the answer to my question i read up a little and im guessing it have soemthing to do with the brake booster but any opinions????????
If I pump my brakes the car revs up a little bit. Its cause of the brake booster and its usually barely noticeable.
Find out if its a stock tranny or if its been beefed up. I've never had good luck with foreign auto trans just american auto trans
