ok so i have a ls/vtec and while driving with the heat off even normal 5h gear (which is running rich BTW) the car over heats. but if i turn the heat on it very slowly begins to reduce in temps. the cooling issue was much worst, today i fixed it cuz b4 i had the 2 larger hoeses on the thermostat housing swapped the one gooing to the head and the other for the heater were backwards but seems better now. the little hoes off the intake is plugged. and i have the TB and IaCV lines coolant lines disconnected as well.

You need a GSR/ITR water pump with the 22T gear.
The LS water pump has a 19 tooth gear which makes the pump spin faster, at higher rpm it cavitates and makes air pockets in the coolant passages.
Bottom line, you're going to have to change the water pump with the correct one along with a GSR/ITR timing belt.
