any problems or headaches swappin this in? had a b16a2 but it blew. lmk

The installation would be no different than the b16 you swapped in. As for performance, you'll definately feel the difference between a 1.6 and 2.0. Of course you'de be getting rid of your vtec with the b20.

i forgot to mention its a 96 b20. im asking becuz the alt looks like it wud be in the way of the halfshaft

My buddy did this to his 89 hatch, which should be the same or similar if im not mistaking. The only problem that will occur is if your wanting to go slammed, you would need a smaller crank pulley (ITR to name one). That is if you have not known that.

so the side of the block where the tranny meets looking weird nd the alt location do not get in the way of the halfshaft?

it shouldnt. what happened to your b16 head? shoulda kept vtak and went big block vtak lol

lolz i know i wish. im keepin my head. nah the motor overheated nd burnt the head gasket to a crisp. im guessin thas no bueno for an aluminum head
