hey, im new to this site and have a problem. i just bought a 90 crx with an aftermarket fuel pump and the gas guage does not work the pump is a 3 wire setup but the original is a 4 wire. what do i need to do/get to get the guage woking? any help would be much appreciated.

 

The fuel guage sending unit is seperate from the fuel pump. Its located under the rear storage compartment. You can use a jumper wire to test the guage in your dash and a multimeter to check the sender. Also make sure no fuses are blown.

well i got it working there was glue on the needle when the white faces were put on, but the only problem now is i broke the needle off putting it all back together any one know where i can get a new fuel gauge or a used one the works

 

There are at least 5 guage clusters on eBay right now. Or look/post in the wanted/for sale section.
