Fuel Sending Unit issue
I am having an issue with my fuel gauge/sending unit. I just replaced it with a brand new one from honda. Before i installed it, i slaved it in and moved the float manually. The gauge would work perfect when i moved the float, but the fuel pump would not prime. When i installed it into the tank, the gauge will read full when im around 1/2 tank. When the fuel pump is running the gauge will read below empty, when i turn the car to on and the fuel pump finishes priming, the gauge will go to full.
I have traced the ground on the sending unit, which is also needed for the car to start. The ground is fine. I traced the wire going to the gauge and it is where its supposed to be, the only thing i cannt find is what wires connect to where once it hits the dash area. I tried following the Haynes manual which sucks *** because it tells what color wire and where but does not show where exactly the grounds connect and where that connection is located in the car.
Does anyone have a legit wiring diagram for me to follow? I tried searching here and google and cannot find anything.
